OOPS!…Babies at menopause are always a possibility, although it’s extremely unlikely that you will conceive at 51 years old. The occasional egg can be produced by the ovaries and put us at a potential risk of unwanted pregnancy.
We must still consider ourselves fertile and use contraception to avoid pregnancy for a full year after the last menstrual period. Personal preference and medical consideration should be taken into account when choosing a form of contraception.
